My mission is to help humanity build an Optimal Society. The world I believe in is built on my 7 Principles of Paradise - please read them, and think about what an Optimal Society looks like to you.

I

The First Presiding Principle of Paradise is that everyone’s basic needs are met.

Progress towards Paradise will be defined by how well we are able to structure society in order to meet the basic physical, social, emotional, mental, and spiritual-existential needs of every human being that participates in Society.

II

Society is organized in a manner in which each participant is able by volition to maximize his or her physical, intellectual, social, and creative potential.

An Optimal State requires that each individual makes an effort to maximize his or her potential to the best of their abilities, and an Optimal State would provide adequate opportunity to do so.

III

The individual acts in consideration of the whole, and the whole is organized in consideration of the individual.

Our success thus far can be attributed to our ability to work together, and in consideration of the larger community. The individual must develop habits that benefit the larger community, and the larger community must provide the structure for those habits to be practical.

IV

Paradise preserves and celebrates the intrinsic differences between people groups and cultures, while providing the conditions for each to thrive.

Culture is the brick and mortar that binds us together into distinct groups. This quality is intrinsically beautiful, when those groups can coexist and appreciate the existence of other different groups. No group holds to any belief of superiority over another group, and cultures are able to explore and learn from one another.

V

Society exists symbiotically with its natural environment to ensure the maximum longevity of the human race and the species that cohabit the Earth with it.

Humanity exerts a stronger force over its environment than any other species on the face of the earth. An Optimal Society cannot exist if it does not establish a stable, mutually-beneficial relationship with the physical environment that it exists within. Equilibrium with the natural factors that exist alongside mankind is essential.

VI

The state of this Society is sought and maintained by collective and constant inquiry, adjustment, and refinement.

Paradise will be a product of our collective thought and effort, facilitated by reasonable discussion and well-planned action. Some ideas will thrive, and others will fail, but the constant pursuit of a Better Society will be guided by the common benefit of the whole.

VII

IT WILL NOT BE PARADISE FOR ANYONE UNTIL IT IS PARADISE FOR EVERYONE.

The Possession of Sentience insists that I acknowledge that I have intrinsic, un-degradable, irrevocable value because I am self-conscious. Sentience also insists that I acknowledge that “you” is simply another “I,” and that any other “I” carries that same un-degradable, irrevocable value by virtue of self-consciousness.

The 7 Principles are a suggested set of moral and cultural parameters for an Optimal Human State. They are simply proposed as a point of reference to begin conversation - agree with them, disagree with them, discuss them. To see how I'm working toward this world, look at my 20/20 Vision next...
